Founder
Managing Director and Chief Scientific Officer with 20+ years of experience in drug discovery, synthetic chemistry, natural product isolation, and structure elucidation. Author of 10+ international publications and patents, and former visiting scientist at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), NIH, USA.
Dr Sambhaji V Patil
Director
More than 25 years of teaching and research experience. A good administrator of multi disciplined graduate collage having more than 25 international publications and Guided 6 PhD students in Organic chemistry.
Dr Mahalaxmi Patil
Project Director
More than 5 years of Teaching and research experience in Horticulture and Post harvesting technologies. Her contribution in empowering the farmers at grass root level by transferring the advance organic based agri- fertilizers and plant root enhancer have been appreciated at village level.

Dr. V D Patil PhD
More than 40 years experience in Indian Industry, from Big Pharma, API intermediates, specialty chemicals companies in India, had served as R and D director and board of directors of companies. He had developed process for more than 200 speciality chemical with in span of 1 year’s tenure. And brought R and D centre from scratch to full fledge R and D of 100 scientists. On board since Inception of Kanashi and guides on process development and specialty chemicals strategic planning, executions and future directions and goals.
Dr. D Rane PhD
More than 20 years in Generic Pharma companies in India as managerial level, Includes Lupin, Glenmark, Matrix, Emcure, and other. He has filed more than 25 DMFs, Designed Non infringing processes; Technology transfer from lab to pilot plant and from pilot plant to commercial production facility. Process validation on kilo 03 DMFs, Designed Non infringing processes; Technology transfer from lab to pilot plant and from pilot plant to commercial production facility. Process validation on kilo scale to collect all data required for DMF. He has hands on expertise with regulatory issues. Expert in all kind of process chemistry and reactions including the polymorphism, for manufacturing of generic drugs and needs for filing DMFs with US FDA. On board since 2013 and guides us in most of the strategic planning and execution of projects.
Dr Sanajy Phogat
More than 20 years in research and Managed diverse public private partnerships and collaboration towards the common goal of developing vaccine against infectious pathogens. Scientific contributor of the novel, broadly neutralizing antibodies (bNAbs), which are considered a “milestone achievement” in the field of HIV vaccine research. Directed technical efforts in antibody isolations using phage display, hybridoma, and single-cell sorting and micro-neutralization approaches. Organized technical assessment reviews of new technologies which led to scientific discoveries to advance the HIV vaccine field.
Demonstrated technical assessment, business organization, decision-making and solution implementation skills. Recognized for creating partnerships of internal and external alliances critical to achieving organizational objectives, including most recently playing a key role in establishing a new research institute in India.
